Construction

From Dream to Reality.

We offer a full project management service offering our expertise at every point in the process. We will attend your initial meeting with client and architects to confirm planning permission and building plans. Once planning is secured we will schedule the work and source materials for the construction and erection of the timber frame. Prior to handing over, the first and second fix carpentry work is completed to your specification.

Relevant projects include:

  • 60ft x 20ft agricultural barn – Sussex

  • 2 bedroom, oak, timber framed house - Midhurst

  • Various outhouses, balconies, kitchen extensions and garages

      Woodman’s Cottage – Sussex

Restoration

Ancient buildings, modern life.

"Our barn is nearing completion. It is now, more than ever, that we can see your skilled craftsmanship. It is evident that the restoration was carried out with thought, care and passion for the building’s heritage. Thanks to you the barn will now be enjoyed for many years to come." Giles Griffiths, Petworth

Relevant projects include:

  • Barn restorations for conversion

  • Private house restorations

  • Restoration of Northney Farm, a traditional Sussex barn – Hayling Island

Preservation

Securing our cultural heritage.

Over recent years buildings of significant historic interest are increasingly being preserved using high tech methods and materials. Use of these techniques can preserve the interior and exterior aesthetic of a building while securing the integrity of the structure over the long term. Our work with Rotafix has been particularly successful and we continue to investigate and evaluate emerging techniques.

Relevant projects include:

  • Preservation of domestic and agricultural buildings

  • Traditional furniture construction and restoration
